Two QEP Team Members Win First Place at Graduate Research Symposium

The QEP team recently participated in two graduate research symposiums. On April 7, they presented for various judges at the A&M-Commerce Annual Research Symposium, and QEP was fortunate enough to have two of our very own graduate research assistants win first place in their respective divisions! Rochana Kaushik won first place in the College of Business division for her oral presentation, and Hari Mamilla won first place in the College of Science and Engineering division for her oral presentation. Both worked very hard on perfecting their research, and it showed as they represented QEP and the university well.

On April 8, the QEP team traveled to Denton, Texas, to participate in the Federation Graduate Student Research Symposium at Texas Woman's University. Representatives of our university, Texas Woman's and University of North Texas met. The members of the QEP team presented well and received great feedback from the judges.

The QEP team will also participate in the Graduate Research Symposium to be held in the Sam Rayburn Student Center on April 25. Developing research for the symposium is a task the QEP team takes on every semester,  continually furthering their research on a variety of topics.
