COVID-19 Update
The Testing Center is doing face-to-face testing on a scaled down basis. Due to social distancing guidelines and safety precautions, the maximum number of testers that may be tested in the lab at one time is nine (9).
If you have any questions, please contact the Testing Center staff during normal work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at 903.886.5122 or by email at [email protected].

FACE COVERINGS
The Testing Center and A&M-Commerce require the use of face coverings in the Welcome Center and testing lab by staff and testers/visitors. Testers refusing to wear face coverings will not be allowed to test and will forfeit all testing fees.
REMOVAL OF FACE COVERING
- Remove face coverings by the straps and move it gently away from your face. Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when removing.
- If your face covering is disposable, then promptly throw it away in a waste container.
- If you have a reusable cloth face covering, make sure you wash it after use.
For additional tips and care recommendations related to face coverings, please visit the Stay Healthy Lions website https://new.tamuc.edu/coronavirus/
Texas Success Initiative Assessment
Texas has revised the Texas Success Initiative Assessments (TSIA2), which launched on January 11, 2021. The TSIA2 is taking the place of the prior TSI assessments. Among the changes, the TSIA2 assessments have combined the Reading and Writing sections into one exam titled English Language Arts Reading (ELAR). The TSIA2 Mathematics assessment is still a standalone assessment. In addition, the TSIA2 has revised questions, scoring, and learning resources for test takers.
For more information, see the TSIA2 Assessment page on our website.
National Exams
The Testing Center will be holding SAT and ACT exams on nationally scheduled Saturdays throughout the Spring. All national testing will be held in McDowell Administration Building at A&M-Commerce.
Face coverings are required for all administrations.
**LSAT administrations for January through April, 2021 have been canceled and replaced by the LSAT Flex. Please see the website at www.lsac.org for information concerning COVID-19, LSAT Flex exams, and future face-to-face administrations.**
