Explore Your Major Fair

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Career Development department, in collaboration with undergraduate academic programs, are offering the Explore Your Major Fair on November 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Rayburn Student Center (RSC).

“The purpose of the Explore Your Major Fair is to provide all undecided and exploring students the opportunity to speak with representatives from academic departments and campus resources in one location to learn about specific requirements for majors, minors, and certificates,” said Employer Relations Coordinator Bethany Ferrall. “This gives students an opportunity to see all of the options in one place and change or confirm that they have chosen the right major for the desired career path. It is just another way we are helping students make the connection between their college education and career path.”

The A&M-Commerce Explore Your Major Fair is designed to help students who are unsure about their major, haven't chosen a major or who are looking for other options within their desired field of study. The Career Development staff will be available with representatives from the undergraduate academic programs to answer questions about the university's various departments. Information will be provided about all of the majors, minors and certificates available at A&M-Commerce.

“Meet with academic and departmental faculty and staff in a fun environment,” said Director of Career Development Tina Boitnott. “This is a great way to explore majors and seek resources.”

This event is informal, and attendees may come and go any time for the duration of the event. Those interested in attending should register at www.hirealion.com.
