This program will prepare you for a wide variety of applications found in the diverse computing and information technology fields. With a strong foundation in programming, database technology, data structures, computer networks and application program development you will have the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as an application analyst, data analyst, data scientist, information systems management and other information technology fields.

Applying to study at RELLIS is easy. If you are interested in earning a degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems from A&M-Commerce at RELLIS, simply complete the ApplyTexas application. Be sure to list Texas A&M-University Commerce as your target university. Once accepted, request a location change by contacting the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems. You'll still earn your degree from A&M-Commerce while working cooperatively with nine other institutions.

As an A&M-Commerce student at RELLIS, you'll enjoy an exceptional educational experience without paying the price. We are committed to providing you an affordable and accessible education, and at RELLIS, we're making this happen. The RELLIS Academic Alliance has established a rate of $302 per semester credit hour (SCH) for residents in upper-division courses.

Will I have access to counseling services at RELLIS?

Yes. Counseling services are available to all currently enrolled upper-division students at RELLIS. Services are provided at no cost to you at the TAMU Psychology Clinic at Miller Hall. To schedule an appointment, please call 979.845.8017 and identify yourself as a currently enrolled upper-division student at RELLIS.

Is there public transportation to RELLIS?

There is a Texas A&M University bus that runs a route to the RELLIS Campus. Route 47 runs 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with one stop on the Texas A&M University Main Campus and RELLIS Campus each. After 7 p.m. the route will be serviced by a van, instead of a bus. Learn more.

Where do I park at RELLIS?

Lot 1000 is designated for student parking for both Blinn and Texas A&M System students at the RELLIS Campus. It is located to the east of the Blinn College Walter C. Schwartz Building and north of the Academic Alliance Complex.

What food services are available at the RELLIS campus?

The RELLIS Campus offers two primary food options. The Blinn Marketplace is located within the Walter C. Schwartz building and offers a variety of coffee and snacks. A Last Shot Xpresso is located within the RELLIS Academic Alliance building and offers coffee, along with hot and cold food options.

Modification of – Do I have to transfer to Texas A&M University to attend RELLIS?

No. Texas A&M University does not offer any degrees at RELLIS. If you are not currently an A&M-Commerce student, you will need to transfer to A&M-Commerce to pursue our B.S. Computer Science or B.S. Computer Information Systems degree at RELLIS. A&M-Commerce only offers upper division courses at RELLIS, so if you lack core freshman or sophomore-level courses, you will need to transfer those in or take them at Blinn College at RELLIS. If you are interested in a program at RELLIS that another college or university offers, you will need to transfer to that college or university.
