QEP Team Attends Annual Research Symposium

Members of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) team participated in the 13th Annual Texas A&M University System Pathways Student Research Symposium. The research symposium was hosted by Prairie View A&M University on November 3 and 4. Two graduate research assistants from the QEP team, Rochana Kaushik and Olatundun Modile came in first and second place, respectively, for oral presentations in the College of Business category.

Kaushik’s research focused on “Exploring the Relationship Between Global Competence and Students’ Personal/Professional Background and Life Experience” while Modile’s case study was concerned with the “Review of a Marketing Campaign Using Cialdini’s Social Proof Theory as a Reinforcement Mechanism.” Members of the QEP team will also participate in the upcoming 4th Annual Global Citizenship Conference at Tarrant County College, Trinity River Campus and the 2016 Decision Sciences Institute Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas. The QEP team’s research efforts exemplify the A&M-Commerce motto of “ceaseless industry, fearless investigation, unfettered thought and unselfish service to others.”
