QEP Spring 2015 Committee Meeting

Dr. Shonda Gibson, executive director of Global Learning and the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan hosted a meeting for QEP committee members and mentors on Thursday February 19, 2015. The goal of the meeting was to welcome Tabetha Adkins as a co-chair of the committee, discuss the roles and expectations of the committee members and mentors, discuss the progress of our university‘s QEP, share results about the Global Competence Aptitude Assessment  GCAA (baseline to fall 2014) and talk about upcoming assessments for traveling students in 2015. During the meeting Dr. Gibson also stressed the importance of ongoing commitment to improve students' educational experience at A&M-Commerce by enhancing their global competence and preparing them for an interconnected world.  It is in the hands of all global educators and the mentors at A&M-Commerce to keep the momentum of QEP going, spread the word about QEP and keep us informed about global events and activities that can enhance students’ learning outcome on campus!
