Admission Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least a 3.0 or higher overall GPA

Required Documents

  • Apply Texas Application
  • $50 (USD) application fee
  • All official transcripts
    • All transcripts used towards a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
    • Any master’s degree transcript(s) with graduate coursework from an accredited institution in an area of study approved by the department
  • Resume
  • Two recommendation forms
  • A Statement of Purpose and Objectives
    • a written narrative describing your past education, experience, professional career objectives, and how the TAMUC MPH Program will help you achieve your professional goals.
  • One of the following:
    • Official GRE Score, or
    • An awarded master’s degree from a regionally accredited university with an overall GPA of at least a 3.25 on the degree, or
    • An awarded bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours

  • Sponsor’s Statement:
    • Must reflect a balance of at least $26,024.82 USD and be less than 1 year old
  • English Proficiency
    • Official TOEFL (Minimum Scores: IBT 79, or CBT 213, or PBT 550), or
    • Official IELTS (Minimum Score: 6.00 band overall), or
    • Official PTE (Minimum Score: 53 overall or higher), or
    • Completion (all years) of a bachelor’s degree or higher degree from a regionally accredited university in the United States
