Thesis
This 36-credit hour program will prepare you for a career in research and further coursework in the field of international sport management. This option requires that you complete a thesis.
Non-Thesis
This 36-credit hour program will prepare you for a career in international sport management. You are required to complete an internship.
You can earn a graduate certificate in either exercise science or sport coaching. These certificates will broaden your knowledge of health, kinesiology and sports.

Course Delivery
This 36-credit hour graduate program is a mix of online, hybrid and face-to-face classes. The face-to-face courses are in the Nursing and Health Sciences building on the main campus in Commerce.
Select “Create a new graduate school admissions application.”
Select “Texas A&M University-Commerce (Commerce)” as your “Target University.”
Select “Health, Kinesiology & Sport Studies, MS” as your “Major.”
Pay the $50 application fee.
Wait to receive an application confirmation email before proceeding to the next step.
After you submit your application, the Graduate School will send a confirmation email within two business days to the personal email account you used for ApplyTexas.
Provisional Status
After you submit your application, you may be granted provisional status, which means you can enroll in one semester of courses. You will not be eligible for financial aid until you submit all of your documents and are accepted into the program.

In 1-2 pages, describe your background, goals and desired concentration: Athletic Administration, Exercise Science, International Sport Management or Sports Coaching.

Submit a resume or curriculum vitae (CV) which includes your academic and professional history and achievements.
Test Scores (if required)
You do not need to submit GRE scores if you have a:
An awarded master’s degree from a regionally accredited university with an overall GPA of at least a 3.25 on the degree
An awarded bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university with an overall GPA of 3.00 or a minimum 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of undergraduate degree
A minimum of 3.0 overall GPA on six hours of graduate level health, kinesiology, sport studies coursework at A&M-Commerce, or another regionally accredited university, with departmental approval
If you do not meet the GPA exemption criteria, request that your GRE® scores be sent to Texas A&M University-Commerce (6188) when you register for the test. If you have already taken the GRE®, you can order additional score reports.
