Environmental Science Graduate Certificate :: Featured Courses
You’ll study a brief survey of the state of non-renewable energy resources and a detailed survey of types, advantages and disadvantages, recent advances, and the commercial availability of products related to our renewable energy resources.
This course is designed to familiarize you with all aspects of the hydrologic cycle, but the bulk of the course is devoted to hydrogeology, the study of groundwater. Characteristics of groundwater flow and practical methods of aquifer characterization will also be discussed.
You’ll study an overview of environmental law and regulation and learn how to naivagate through regulation changes. In addition, this course will acquaint you with numerous environmental ethical issues that influence the development of environmental policy and regulations.
Graduate Program Costs
As of Fall 2019, tuition and fees for a graduate student taking 9 credit hours through our 1 Year Optional Rate Plan is $3,288.98 for a Texas resident and $7,086.98 for a non-Texas resident. However, rates do change based on the number of credit hours taken, payment plan used and other factors.
