Business Academy :: Eligibility and Admissions

A group of professors and students talking outside of the College of Business building.

Eligibility and admission

Students first applying to Dallas College and those with existing credits toward an AA in a business field at Dallas College are encouraged to apply.

If accepted into the Business Academy, you will complete freshman- and sophomore-level courses at Dallas College. Then you will transfer seamlessly to A&M-Commerce for your junior and senior-level courses, which can be completed at our Dallas location, entirely online or in Commerce.

To enter the academy, you must first apply and be accepted to Dallas College. After acceptance, you must prequalify for the Texas A&M University-Commerce Business Academy.

If you meet the minimum requirements for the Academy (as determined by Dallas College), you will receive an email notification containing the Texas A&M University-Commerce Business Academy application link.
