BECOME AN AGRICULTURAL EDUCATOR
Our program will help you develop the ability to teach agriculture to students between grades six and twelve by using your practical and real-world experience. Our alternative certification is designed for those who want to obtain teacher certification in Texas without obtaining a master’s degree. The 18 hours of graduate credit courses in our alternative certification program are also applicable to the master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences. Learn how to incorporate your knowledge about such topics as animals, crops, greenhouses, and the importance of protecting the environment into instruction and education. Through our Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Alternative Certification program at A&M-Commerce, you can give back to our next generation.
