Zhaoting Wei, who also goes by the name of George, is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at A&M-Commerce. He has visited IHES France multiple times. He completed his undergraduate studies from 2003 to 2007 at Peking University in Beijing, China and obtained his doctorate in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Block. Wei was a Zorn Post-doctor at Indiana University Bloomington from 2013 to 2016 working with Prof. Valery Lunts.
