Taylor Phelps
- Alum
Taylor Phelps grew up in Northeast Texas where his parents were public school teachers. Upon graduating from high school, Taylor entered A&M-Commerce as an undergraduate in the Honors College and a member of the Lion Athletics men’s basketball team. He worked in the athletic department’s revenue generation team since 2017, which refined his skills for his current role as the executive director of Principal Giving. Taylor is passionate about assisting donors in making an impact on A&M-Commerce. When he is not working, Taylor and his wife are fulfilling their bucket list to visit all the U.S. National Parks and Texas State Parks. Taylor also loves working on home projects and spending time with friends and family.

What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&M-Commerce?
We are a family. You will always have a home on our campus and our alumni truly want to see you succeed. They will assist you any way they can in the future.
What do you like most about your career?
It’s an honor and privilege to connect the Lion family with our current students. Serving as a steward to align donor’s passions with life-changing opportunities for our students is an honor!
