Music Professor Receives 15th Consecutive Award from ASCAP

Dr. Ted Hansen, Professor of Music and Regents Professor at Texas A&M University-Commerce, has received his 15th consecutive award from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) for his work as a composer. His work has been performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and on National Educational Television.

Recent performances include: Hexagons for Saxophone Sextet, Kaleidoscope for Alto Flute and Vibraphone, Cavatina for Flugelhorn and Piano, and Contrasts for Woodwind Quintet.
