The Frisco Independent School District is building its eighth high school which is projected to open in fall 2015. On Feb. 10, the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to name the school after Dr. Rick Reedy, the long time superintendent who retired earlier this year.
A Texas A&M University-Commerce alumnus, Reedy served as an educator for 43 years. 37 of them were at Frisco ISD as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent.
