Dr. Klypchak Named University Theatre Educator of the Year in Texas

Dr. Carrie Klypchak teaches acting, directing, and performance theory courses and directs productions for the
University Playhouse.

“There is no doubt that my students at A&M-Commerce made this award possible,” said Dr. Klypchak. “It is a privilege to work with students who understand that I, as their teacher, am pushing them to break their self-imposed academic and artistic boundaries because I believe in the great abilities of every single one of them.”

The official ceremony, where she was honored with the award, took place in Houston at the end of January 2013.
