Complete Library Services Survey for a Chance to Win Prizes

The A&M-Commerce Libraries seek to provide you with excellent support for your academic needs. By completing the 2014 LibQual+ Survey—available online from March 17 to April 11—you will provide the necessary input for improving the services provided by our libraries.

The survey takes five to 10 minutes, and responses are anonymous. Those who include their campus email address will be entered for a chance to win an Xbox One, iPad Air or one of two iPad Minis, without affecting their anonymity.

“LibQual is the premier academic library assessment tool. It was created by the Association of Research Libraries in Washington, D.C., in cooperation with Texas A&M University-College Station,” said Director of University Libraries Gregory A. Mitchell. “The survey informs us about library institutional effectiveness and helps us with our strategic planning. The library has introduced several innovative, new services during the last few years, and LibQual has helped us tremendously in evaluating and improving services.”

The last LibQual+ Survey was conducted in 2012. The responses informed several improvements in library services, including adding more computers, the move to 24-hour service, the expansion of the Bistro and the addition of EasySearch.

The A&M-Commerce Libraries will host a number of events on campus to promote the survey, including two faculty receptions, a pizza party for students and giveaways of popcorn and candy.
