Operational Excellence Graduate Certificate

The purpose of this certificate is to develop graduate-level working knowledge of important tools (e.g., SAP, Six Sigma and project management software) for successful application in supply chain and project management. Students who successfully complete the certificate will be awarded the following: 1) Operational Excellence Certificate from A&M-Commerce; 2) an SAP certificate; and 3) a Green Belt Six Sigma certificate. All of the courses in the Operational Excellence Certificate Program may be applied to the Master of Science (MS) in Management degree program and some of the courses my be applied to other graduate business degrees.

SAP Student Recognition Award Program

The SAP Student Recognition award signifies you have developed a detailed understanding of SAP concepts and gained an introductory proficiency in SAP. You must successfully complete three of the following courses to receive the award. Employers have stated that this training, and the subsequent award, are considered a valuable skill and would be highly considered in employment decisions.

Six Sigma Greenbelt Program

The Six Sigma Greenbelt certificate program introduces you to the most commonly used quality management tools and then guides you to use those tools on a Six Sigma project. The completion of this program allows students to demonstrate to employers their mastery of six sigma concepts.

Starting January 1, 2019, students must successfully complete MGT 340 Quality Management and Improvement, MGT 591 Quality Management, or MGT 597 Lean Six Sigma to receive the certificate.

  • Junior classification with university
  • Business management majors
  • Preference given to human resource management majors
  • In good standing with the university

Jim Mann Family Endowment

  • Marketing or accounting majors
  • Junior or senior classification with university

  • Must have cumulative GPA of 3.0

MBA Alumni End

Graduate students must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

  • Accepted in good standing by the university into its Master of Business Administration program.
  • An undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.2 of the student’s last sixty hours of undergraduate work.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.25 on any graduate work.
  • A full-time graduate student in good standing as defined by the university.

Haskell L. Miracle MBA Endowment

Graduate students must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

  • Accepted in good standing by the university into its Master of Business Administration program.
