Award-winning poet visits campus

The award-winning poet R. Flowers Rivera recently visited the Department of Literature and Languages and read from her collection of poetry, “Heathen.” Rivera spoke to students about creating and publishing.

“You write to communicate so you may as well put it out there,” said Rivera.
