A&M-Commerce to Receive CollegeFish.org Awards
CollegeFish.org awarded Texas A&M University-Commerce the CollegeFish Transfer Scholarship & Pathways Pioneer award for 2015 and awarded senior admissions recruiter and coordinator of transfer initiatives, Dimitri Lyon, the CollegeFish University Transfer Champion Continued Service award for 2015.
CollegeFish.org is an online resource powered by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. The website serves as a tool to encourage the completion of two-year degrees and to promote transfer options.
“Transfer students are very special to us at Texas A&M University-Commerce,” said President Dan Jones. “We are committed to their success and are deeply honored to receive this recognition.”
The CollegeFish University Transfer Champion distinction is awarded through nominations from students and staff at the community and junior college level.
The awards will be presented at the 2015 CollegeFish.org awards ceremony at Nerd Nation in San Antonio.
