A&M-Commerce recently received a Texas Emergency Aid Grant in the amount of $15k. The Texas Higher Education Foundation partnered with the Greater Texas Foundation and Trellis Foundation to offer the grant program. The grant money supports colleges and universities affected by pandemic-related disruptions.
A&M-Commerce will use the funds to extend its Campus.Health service to students for an additional four weeks. The program was initially offered for 12 weeks.
Campus.Health is a convenient way for students to receive medical and mental health support for common conditions that can be safely and accurately diagnosed and treated online. The program allows students access to medical and counseling visits anytime, anywhere via a secure video or brief phone visit from any web-enabled device – smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
