A&M-Commerce Announces Homecoming 2013 Theme

By Rachel Evans

Today Texas A&M University-Commerce announced their Homecoming 2013 theme: “Our Pride Cannot Be Tamed.” This circus-themed week will take place Sunday, October 27 through Saturday, November 2 and will be open to university faculty, staff, and students, as well as alumni and community.

Derryle Peace, Director of Alumni Relations at A&M-Commerce shares a funny, yet serious message to his fellow grads, “Come home and see what we've done to your old room!”

Events have been planned throughout the week for students and community alike. Through these events, student organizations will compete in a Spirit Competition to show which group has the most spirit. Many alumni groups from Greek Life, departments, and student organizations are planning reunions.

Community members and businesses are encouraged to outfit their windows in blue and gold in support of the university's 124 years of tradition.
