A&M-Commerce Alum to Lead Percussion Ensemble at Prestigious Conference

The North Forney (Texas) High School Percussion Ensemble, led by A&M-Commerce alum Jim Gist, has been invited to perform at the 74^th Midwest Clinic in Chicago, one of the largest band and orchestra conferences in the country. The conference is set for December 16-19 in Chicago. Gist earned a Master of Percussion Performance at A&M-Commerce.  He is assistant band director and percussion instructor at North Forney High School.
