A&M-Commerce Achieves Record Enrollment for Fall

Texas A&M University-Commerce achieved its highest enrollment in school history at 3:41 p.m. August 24 after enrolling its 11,000th student, Dakota Griffin, for the fall semester.

“My sincere appreciation goes out to the entire university community,” said Dr. Mary Hendrix, vice president of student access and success. “Accomplishments like these are the result of a team effort, and cannot be achieved through individual efforts alone. Every contact we have with potential and current students makes the difference.”

This significant increase comes on the heels of last fall's record enrollment of more than 10,000 students, and represents an 11.9 percent increase in the freshmen class.
