Weekday Campus Tours
The best way to learn about A&M-Commerce is to visit campus!
During your visit, you can explore our spectacular facilities, including academic buildings, the student center and residence halls. You can also meet A&M-Commerce students and learn about the numerous opportunities that are awaiting you. Weekday campus tours are:
- 90-minute walking tours
- Offered weekdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Led by Lion Ambassadors – current students who share their individual experiences about A&M-Commerce and provide information that will help you make your college decision.
Advanced registration is required. After you schedule your visit, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details including directions to campus and parking information.
If you are not able to visit us on campus, please enjoy our Virtual Campus Visit Experience offered Tuesdays & Thursdays (9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) for prospective freshmen, transfer, and graduate students interested in our university. This visit option includes a 30-minute presentation over A&M-Commerce and a 30-minute student-guided walkthrough of Lucky’s 360 Tour. Each Virtual Campus Visit Experience will conclude with a brief question and answer session.

New Student Orientation is a fun and important opportunity for you to learn all about life and learning at A&M-Commerce. All new undergraduate students are required to participate in New Student Orientation.
Congratulations on transferring to A&M-Commerce! You’re one step away from starting your journey here. All new undergraduate students are required to participate in New Student Orientation, an important, exciting (and mandatory) step in becoming a part of the A&M-Commerce family. Reserve your spot for Transfer Orientation by logging into myLEO, click the “Apps” tab and select the “Transfer Orientation” app. All orientation sessions will be offered virtually during Summer 2020. How do I sign up for a New Student Orientation session?
Is there a fee for New Student Orientation?
Yes, there is a $100 orientation fee for all new students that covers the cost of virtual programming platforms, staff and other administrative costs. This fee does not have to be paid upfront to make a reservation. The fee will be added to your account after attending New Student Orientation. If you receive financial aid, scholarships or other financial assistance, these may be used to cover the orientation fee.
When and how do I pay for New Student Orientation?
You do not have to pay the orientation fee to register for a session. The fee will be added to your account after attending New Student Orientation. If you receive financial aid, scholarships or other financial assistance, these may be used to cover the orientation fee. You can pay your balance by logging into myLEO and accessing “LeoPay” under “Student Resources.”

Scholars Preview Day is designed specifically for high-achieving prospective students who rank at the top of their class or have achieved high SAT/ACT scores.
At Scholars Preview Day, prospective students and their parents will:
- Learn about the Honors College and Regents' Scholars Program and the application process to participate.
- Meet faculty and staff who are committed to student success.
- Visit with current students who will share their experiences about life at A&M-Commerce.
- Learn about the undergraduate admission process.
- Get financial aid details.

If you plan to visit McDowell Administration building, you can park for a half-hour in front of the building. If you can stay longer, go by the cashier's window just inside the front entry of McDowell Administration building for a complimentary visitor's permit.
Texas Senate Bill 11 permits concealed carry of firearms in Texas A&M University-Commerce buildings only to persons who have been issued and are in possession of a texas license to carry permit. Pursuant to pc 46.035 and A&M-Commerce rule 34.06.02.r1, permit holders may not carry in restricted locations. Please observe temporary building and venue signage; to comply with state law and report violations to the university police department at 903.886.5868 or 9-1-1, view the campus procedure.
