Accounting Students Score in Texas’ Top 10 for CPA Exam

A&M-Commerce accounting students achieved a pass rate of 56.82 percent on the CPA exam in 2010, making the university's program No. 8 in Texas for schools with more than 25 students attempting the exam. By comparison, CPA pass rates at SMU and Texas A&M were 38.18 percent and 60.15 percent, respectively for the most recent testing window.
